NRWC Community Grants are targeted to non-profit groups or individuals who are working to promote wellness in their communities. Deadlines for application submission are September 30th, February 28th and May 31st. [View Guidelines]
The coalition works within goals and objectives of the Strategic Health Plan of Newfoundland and Labrador-Healthier Together. It aims to foster and encourage healthier lifestyle choices. Currently, the coalition has three (but are not limited to) focus areas:
Explanation of Logo: The sun depicted in the background with the three figures symbolizes family and that as a Coalition, we are working towards brighter, healthier futures.
Mission Statement: The Northern Regional Wellness Coalition actively encourages residents of this region to participate in healthy lifestyles that result in the best possible health and well-being.
